The Frommer’s guides are easy to understand and give great travel “hints” for your destination.

A Good basic tour book. Most Frommer’s guides have a few pages within them with a few photos. The bigger issue I have with this edition is the lack of useful maps. There is not a single map that shows the entire Barcelona region. Frommer’s Barcelona is packed with information (most of it very useful) but could use a few more pages from some useful maps and maybe a photo or two.

book arrived very soon, and in great condition. We bought this book for our trip to Madrid. The restaurant reviews were mostly dead on, but the review of our hotel forgot to mention that the hotel charged 10 Euro/day for TV (Gran Hotel Conde Dueque). We had a great time by following suggestions in the book and would buy it again.
Everything in the book is great. I had a Fodor’s book for Barcelona, and this Frommer’s book was far better.

Book is good, but not what I ordered. I ordered “Frommer’s Madrid: With side trips to Salamance & Avila.” I received Frommer’s Madrid. Madrid is a youthful, vibrant, fun, exciting, bustling city during the day and especially the night! I do think that this guide is great for an old couple, or for a family who will do the traditionally site seeing and walking tours that the book boasts. Overall, we didn’t use the book, the free Wi-Fi in the hotel was a life saver, save your money and do internet research if you are looking for the above mentioned youthful perspective on Madrid fun!
