Eyewitness Guides are wonderful, beautifully illustrated books on glossy paper, which is perfect for planning travel, but not so good to take home with you. But they do not have to! I’m using the guide to Andalusia to my itinerary planning five-city, including stops in Ronda that I never heard of, but eventually became one of the highlights of our trip. This guide gives a general view about the places to visit, with many photos and maps. But to make, especially in countries like Spain, travelers as the first stop of his tour office – there is one in every city and in many cities. This is where you get your map, walking tour info, museum opening and closing schedules, etc.
I can not resist, with two peaks: Tourist office in Seville near Plaza Nueva is free internet. And be sure to go to the Alcazar – I think the more famous Alhambra outshines were with far less effort and the people very much less.
I agree with the reviewer who does not is the info to the hotel well, and the author of this guide may be able to remove without the words except for being overweight. Internet today is by far the best source. And for the restaurant, just to walk!
I like this guide, but there is no source that will have everything to travel independently – and in the instructions, information about hotels and restaurants are usually “out-of-date before it is printed. But with this guide to dreams – it’s great
